Photos are a mixture of V's, baby's cameras and my mobile. Here it goes.
Day 1
With barely 4hrs of sleep, we got up groggily to prepare & do last minute checking to meet V & E for our flight.
Thanks to V's mum who drove us to the airport at 5plus in the morning. :)
Had our breakfast and practically ran to the gate when we realized we were late for boarding.
One of the last few passengers to get on, ha. Slept on our 4-hour flight!
Touched down, took a cab to Disneyland Hotel to drop off our luggage (check-in at 3pm).
The weather was crazily warm and we listened to my mum who told us it would be cold. So of course, we burned!
Neverthless, had our fair share of fun and we stayed to check out the parade before running back to the hotel to soak off.
Sorry V, our first photo in Hong Kong so had to. ;)
So creative!
First lunch in Hong Kong.
I took a video of the whole parade but it's being a pain-in-the-ass to upload so photos it is!
Skipped the fireworks at the theme park at 9pm and decided to head for a swim and jacuzzi instead.
Headed back to wash up for dinner at Studio Lounge @ Hollywood Hotel.
Chilled there for the rest of the night because there was a Disney movie playing too.
Day 2
Woke up early for breakfast and ohmygod, the Enchanted Garden (dining area) was soooo pretty!
Food was not too bad either. Only took photos of our first plates, haha.
I was excited because there were Disney mascots going around for photo-taking. :D
Went into a souvenir shop and squealed at all the toys there! Baby and his Woody, haha cho kewtz.
Initially wanted to get a Duffy bear but decided on the mini keychain version instead.
Maybe I'll get it for my children in the future. ;)
Our Disneyland loots!
Dragged our luggage all the way to JJ Hotel (hotel for the rest of the trip) through crowds & public transport.
Managed to find it, washed up and headed out again for shopping and dinner.
Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
Dinner was at a random shop. I regretted my decision, the yellow noodles taste was so strong! :(
Supper on the second night was egglets and siew mai! Luvluvluv the siew mai!!!
Day 3
Woke up early and headed to Tim Ho Wan!!! So excited to try it!
Reached even before it opened and we were the first customers inside, ahaha.
But erm, we sorta underestimated the portions and over-ordered. Oops!
Why queue in Singapore?! ^^
Headed to the ferry terminal to jet over to Macau! One hour to and fro each is no joke, but had a good nap.
Visited the Macau Tower and maybe regretting not doing the bungee jump, mm.
Spent some time in the casino and sourced for the oh-so-delicious portuguese egg tarts too!
Family doing the Sky Walk.
Taking photos of things we don't see back at home, haha.
Ahhhh, drooling & wishing we could have brought some home.
After alighting from the ferry, we made our way to the tram which takes us up to The Peak.
It was a very steep slope up to the top and the view inside was so incredible! Didn't manage a shot 'cos it was crowded.
Visited the wax museum, Madame Tussauds, first before going to the top to check out the night view.
So much fun inside while taking photos with 'famous people and celebrities'.
An unpleasant incident took place with another tourist (I presume) as well, hahaha.
Headed to the top level to check out the night view but it wasn't all that great because of the fog. :(
Stayed around to take funny polaroid shots before going back down for dinner. And that was the end of the night.
Our lover. ^^
Twins? Hehehe.
Day 4
Breakfast at another random shop but I was feeling unwell so baby & I headed back to the hotel to rest.
V & E went ahead to do some shopping and bought back boxes of lao po bing for us, spankiews!!!
Not forgetting, the things my babylove did to make me feel better. I fall in love with you, more each day.
Felt better and headed out for lunch together. Roamed shopping malls and Prada warehouse.
Buys of the day: Baby got himself a Porter bag and I got a pretty Miu Miu bracelet. :D
And because it was our last night, Lan Kwai Fong for some drinks but it was really confusing & we couldn't find party scenes?
So we left after dinner, bought a bottle from a nearby mart and drank the night away ourselves. ;)
Photos above were during breakfast.
Lunch. Our noodles all looked the same, actually.
Another must-take photo 'cos we don't see these in S'pore.
Day 5 - Last day! :(
As stated above, sigh. Got up early to check out, with the intention to head to the Big Buddha.
But reckoned we couldn't have made it there and back in time to catch our flight so just aimlessly wandering.
Chilled at a Starbucks cafe before catching the airport express train to the airport.
Just realized you can sorta see my reflection in this photo. O.O
The trip ended in a blink of an eye. Fun and enjoyable with the best companions.
There were still a few destinations & attractions that we didn't manage to go though. We'll be back.
Yearning for another trip already. Love exploring new places.
Now, how about that Australia trip? ;)
